The lastest round of updates on Spowtr have had a focus on user account security.

Mutli-factor authentication

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is now available for all accounts. Users can enable MFA in their security settings. By doing so, accounts will be protected by an extra layer of security.

How does it work?

When enabled, MFA ensures that anytime a user logs in, they will also need to provide a one-time verification code (sent via email) to complete the login. This adds a little extra piece of mind, for example, in cases where one's password may have become compromised.
