Some new features to improve the experience for authors and readers on Spowtr have launched this month.
Author RSS feeds
Spowtr doesn't push notifications to users because it tries to keep things quiet. If you want to subscribe to an author however, RSS feeds for individual authors are now available.
You'll now find a “Subscribe via RSS” action on author profile pages, giving them another way to promote their articles.
Author profile pages now includes an link to the authors RSS feed.
Article engagement
Authors can now view anonymised view data for their spowts on the user panel at the top of the page.
Total spowt views, and unique views will be provided to authors at the top of each spowt page.
Learn more about Spowtr data collection by reviewing the terms of use and privacy policy.
What else?
A heap of performance, bug fixes, and security improvements have also rolled out.
Enjoy!
